A penny saved is a penny earned. Benjamin Franklin supposedly said that, but actually a lot of people said that way before him. But Ben, he was smart, and he swung the idea into a phrase that people will remember for all time!  Another smart thing is diligent saving for the future, particularly in challenging economic times. And (despite what you may have read last week in the Penny Saver), The Captains of Industry are all about smart. We strongly suggest you save those pennies, nickels and dimes. They'll come in handy during the zombie revolution: fill up a sock with your carefully preserved loose change and you have a perfectly weighted rudimentary mace. And when the Ben Franklin zombie comes to your door, you can thank him for his smart savings suggestion before you swing your sock to save your skin.BoooYA! Power to the people!!
